I am a proud American♥
born and raised in California and this is where my heart will always belong.
My parents are from El Salvador and I am also a very proud Salvadoran. :)
I want to be a teacher when i grow up, its what my life long dream to be a teacher, to have a classroom of my own and be able to have an impact in the life of the future leaders of our country ♥
I am 18.
I feel in love with soccer in 2010. The USMNT is my first love. They stole my heart and will forever have it, not matter what. The USMNT means the world to me, I was a girl who, having gone through depression and early stages of anorexia, didn’t believe in my self, gave up easily, and whenever someone said “Raquel, you can’t do this!” i would believe that. On June 23rd 2010, the USMNT changed that. When Landon scored that last minute goal, i cried. And at that moment I realized that I could do anything that I set my mind to. No matter what everyone else said or thought. That I should never, ever give up. I believed in myself once again. I now am a girl who fights for dreams, I am stronger and I don’t ever give up. I also support the USWNT ♥
Landon Donovan. He is my life. I love him beyond measure. He means the world to me. He, along with the USMNT, taught me how to never give up and always fight. I saw him play once, and thats all it took for me to fall in love with him. He is an amazing person and a fantastic player. He always puts a smile on my face, no matter how crappy my day is. I’ve had the pleasure and honor of meeting him 5 times. :)
*He called me “sweetie” one time, i felt like i was going to faint. lol. :’)

Proud supporter of the Los Angeles Galaxy. 2002, 2005 and 2011 MLS Cup Champions. It was an honor being able to cheer the Galaxy on at the 2011 MLS Cup Final and being able to celebrate the Championship with them. [Yes, i cried when the whistle blew. lol.] I live and breath for them. I love them so much. They have become my life and they have also changed it, in a positive way of course :) I will always support the Galaxy, win or lose, rain or shine. Forever and always. Whenever I am stressed or sad, they can automatically cheer me up. When i watch their games and I cheer them on (either at the stadium or at home) its the best feeling ever. The Galaxy organization is a m a z i n g . I love every single one of the Galaxy players ♥ Whenever I watch one of their games, all my problems fade and its me and them and the beautiful game :) they mean so much to me ♥ I love going to their games! Its amazing. The Galaxy players are so humble and incredibly nice. Those boys are my life. We live and die for the Galaxy crest.
FC Barcelonaaaaa ;D Yes, i am a very proud Cule. ♥ i love my bluagrana boys a ton and I will always stand behind them and support them. One of my dreams is to go see them play live at the Camp Nou. When the Galaxy are in the offseason, FC Barcelona keeps me going :) i love them all so much, all it took was one game for them to capture my heart with their style of play and their dedication.

I’ll tell you a little about my personal life, my Grandma was like my mom she took care of me for 8 years so i was super close to her. When she moved out to help my Aunt with her baby, I still would see her EVERY SINGLE DAY, so when she passed away, it was like my whole world came crashing down on me. I miss her with all my heart and I can’t wait to see her in heaven. ♥
My mom almost died in a car accident when i was about 2 years old. I was also in the car but I was perfectly fine. Thank God, he protected us. ♥
My sister and my best friend Eli are my partners in crime ;)
my mom is also my best friend. I tell her everything. :)
My dad and I fight a lot because we have the same attitude and character. Buttttt, soccer has united us :) ♥
I am a veryyy nice person (too nice, so people take advantage of me.) I respect everyone and their opinions. I am fine with you having your opinion as long as you don’t share it in a disrespectful way. I am a Christian.
